Ladies’ Participates in Women’s Golf Day June 6, 2017

It is fitting that on Tuesday June 6, 2017, Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto - the only private golf club owned and governed by women - is participating in Women’s Golf Day, celebrating girls and women playing golf and learning the skills that last a lifetime. Registered participants will receive free instruction and lessons or 9 holes of play at a reduced rate, followed by a cocktail party with FUN, socializing and networking guaranteed! Intermediate Ladies’ Member Wins National WGA Event – March 2017

Ladies’ is proud of junior member and Canadian amateur Selena Costabile who shot a final round, even par 70 to win a National Women’s Golf Association event at Dubsdread Golf Course in Orlando March 22, 2017. Selena, who opened with scores of 65 – 69, finished the three-round event at six under par.

Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto Recognized for Environmental Excellence – July 2016

Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto recently achieved designation as a ‘Certified Audobon Cooperative Sanctuary’. Ladies’ is one of 56 golf courses in Ontario and 910 worldwide to hold this title. Course superintendent John McLinden,is responsible for initiating the application, and has been recognized for environmental stewardship by Audobon International.

Ladies’ Golf Club is a sanctuary for wildlife on the golf course property. Close to 100 birds have been sited on the course, native plant species have been introduced, and vital food and habitat for bee and butterfly species are provided by the many gardens and naturalized areas. May 1 Open House a Huge Success in spite of inclement weather! - May 2016
More than 100 people, ladies, young women and men, came by to see just what Ladies' Golf Club of Toronto is all about. Although the day was rather cool and wet outside, it was warm and hospitable in the Clubhouse for those who visited. Many purchased Ladies' Golf Academy programs and lesson packages, and guests in all categories signed up on the spot for the type of membership package that suited her or him best.
